Mr. Knobles attained a Bachelors of Arts degree from Texas Lutheran  University in 1972, with highest honors, and his law degree from the University of Texas in 1976. He has been continuously licensed to practice law in Texas since 1976.

 

In 1984, Mr. Knobles was certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the area of Residential Real Estate, and Farm and Ranch Real Estate, and has maintained this certification since that time.

 

His practice includes all aspects of real estate law, including commercial real estate matters. Mr. Knobles represents sellers and buyers of tracts of all sizes and for all applications, including farms, ranches, commercial sites and residential communities.

 

In addition, Mr. Knobles practices extensively in the area of onshore oil and gas, representing landowners, mineral owners, royalty owners, and exploration and production companies. This work includes advising clients regarding minerals and ownership, negotiating oil and gas leases, negotiating and documenting mergers and acquisitions, preparing assignments, farmout agreements, joint operating agreements, easements, and other documents pertinent to the oil and gas industry. Mr. Knobles is not certified in the area of Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law.

 

Finally, Mr. Knobles practices generally in the areas of entity formation, business law, estate planning and probate. Mr. Knobles is not certified by the Board of Legal Specialization in these areas.
